PwC has strengthened its Thames Valley Human Resource Services (HRS) and pensions practice by appointing Julian Sansum and Peter Woods to lead the teams respectively.
Sansum has recently moved from PwC London and will head up the Thames Valley’s HRS team. He specialises in Reward and Human Resource Consulting and his expertise now means that the wider South East HRS team can offer an unparalleled level of service solutions covering all types of people related issues including international mobility, reward, employee taxes, payroll and pensions to name a few.
Woods is relocating from Leeds having led PwC’s HRS and pensions practice in the North for the past seven years. He will become the pensions leader for the Thames Valley and will be based in the Reading office.
Mark Harris, a director, also from PwC London, will be joining the South East team to focus on pensions - in particular dealing with legacy Defined Benefit pensions. He joins Alan Maccleaster who provides a wide range pension advisory services to clients in the Thames Valley and is currently working with several local businesses helping them manage the cost and risk of their legacy defined benefit pension arrangements.
Miles Saunders, office senior partner, PwC in Reading commented: “These appointments underline our commitment to invest in the Thames Valley region and grow our business in the region. We believe that it’s vital to continue investment in our people, so we have the right level of expertise and experience in place to deliver value to our clients - whatever the economy might be doing.”
