Blake Lapthorn has appointed Ian Flowers as a partner in its pensions team.
Based in the firm's Southampton office, Flowers will be responsible for assisting the team in developing and continuing to expand its pensions practice by building on its offering to meet the needs of its existing and growing client base.
Flowers joins Blake Lapthorn from Pitmans where he was a partner in the firm's Pensions department. Prior to that, he was a partner at Nabarro, where he headed up the Sheffield Pensions team, splitting his time between the Sheffield and London offices. Flowers was admitted as a solicitor in 1983, qualifying at Nabarro Nathanson before periods at Freshfields and Rowe & Maw (now Mayer Brown).
