Andrew Johnston, a leading expert in franchising and other forms of distribution, is joining Manches Commercial IP team from Eversheds on August 9, 2010.

Johnston's reputation in franchising precedes him, with clients and industry analysts praising his approach to "getting the deal done". He is acknowledged as a leader in the field, has written for Franchise 09 and regularly lectures and presents in this area. He has a special interest in retail operations and will make an active contribution to the work of Manches' Retail Sector group. His expertise in the law relating to prize draws and promotions will be of particular interest to Manches' retail clients, as will his knowledge of international franchising arrangements.
