Newbury: Restaurant acquired by La Tasca chain

11 Jan 2012

Brasserie Gerard bought out of Paramount administration.

Brasserie Gerard in Newbury has been bought by La Tasca from Paramount, which is in administration.

La Tasca runs Spanish tapas bars and restaurants and plans to convert the Newbury site into one of its trading concepts at the end of next month.

Paramount Restaurants collapsed into administration in November. Raymond Blanc's Brasseroie Bar Co bought eight of the Chez Gerard sites.
